Hurricane Harvey’s Impact on VA Facilities

National VFW - 9/3/2017

In an effort to meet the needs of veterans impacted by Hurricane Harvey and to accomplish its fourth mission to support national efforts for, respond to, and recover from war, terrorism, national emergencies, and natural disasters, virtually all Department of Veterans Affairs facilities in Texas and Louisiana are open. For updates on operations of VA medical centers and associated clinics, please visit their websites. The Houston Regional Office reopened at 9 a.m. on Aug. 31 and resumed normal operations. The out-based Veterans Benefits operations in Corpus Christi, San Antonio and McAllen are open for regular business. Read daily updates here.
